IMineralysis
It is a Multimineral inversion software. Allows the estimation of the mineral coefficients when performing multimineral analysis in areas where the coefficients are uncertain. Uses a genetic algorithm-based optimization
Generates a multimineral solution that predicts the input logs and outputs the fractions of fluids and minerals present in the rock.
Automates the time-consuming, manual trial and-error process of estimating mineral constants
Allows the petrophysicist to explore different possibilities and even the estimation of spatial variations in important parameters such as water resistivity, kerogen maturity, and clay composition. See more…
Cost efficient, advanced petrophysical modeling helps accelerate:
- Evaluation of new exploration/exploitation areas and geologic intervals
- Acquisition of Oil & Gas leases for mineral rights
- Estimation of volumetrics, fluids, and rock properties to prioritize future developments
- Estimation of seal integrity for CCS and CCUS projects
Starting from proprietary or multiclient data of 100s or 1000s of wells, our workflow consists of three basic steps: data preparation, log normalization, and calibrated petrophysical modeling. For each well, we generate a calibrated mineral and fluid model per well that can be mapped across the area of interest.
We process and model 100s of wells at the same time using proprietary software and workflows. The results are carefully calibrated with independent information from core data, specialty logs, etc.
At the center of our workflow is iMineralysis®, a powerful petrophysical modeling tool that uses genetic algorithm designed to estimate mineral and fluid compositions in the most complex geologic environments
